As a child, I used to spend my summers at my grandmother's house.
One of my favorite things to do was to sit on my lounge chair and read for hours. I truly miss having a summer vacation!
Currently, I am busy working full time and having several other projects on the side so I don't get to enjoy summers like I used to.
Light reading books are the best right now and these are a few of my favorites.
I plan to make myself some iced coffee or strawberry lemonade, sit on my patio and enjoy these books during my weekend.

What books do you plan to read this summer?

I'm reading Wicked right now, and I'm actually not liking it that much. In fact, I may not finish it because I'm only about halfway through...

I'm currently reading the 5th book in George R.R. Martin's Game of Thrones series, "Dance with Dragons". I love these books! I always read before I go to sleep :)

But I definitely miss lazy summers, reading... with all our great technology, I still feel like we've lost something...

Great post!

Currently reading Anne Lamott's Imperfect Birds. As a parent of a teenager, a lot of it is ringing true for me!
