How does your workspace reflect your style?
I love keeping my kitchen clean and simple, and so does our designs for the favors.  I try to display our macarons in a simple and elegant way.

What is the favorite part of your workspace?
Would it be weird to say my favorite spot of my kitchen is in front of my oven?  After popping them into the oven I can't help but always stay and look at the macarons in the oven to slowly develop their "legs"!!  It's just so satisfying to see that they have beautiful legs because it mean that is a very successful batch of macaron!!  I also love my work bench where I make, pipe, and sandwich our macarons, even I bake them almost everyday I still enjoy very much looking at a bunch of our colorful macarons and think that they are the most gorgeous little cookie in the world!

What is favorite color palette and how did you implement this in your space?
Romantic colors like pale pink, tan, ivory, salmon, light brown are my favorites; I think making a macaron tower with those colors will be absolutely stunning.  French Macarons Sparkles Macaron Kitchen Make Macarons

What is the one tool used in your creation process you treasure the most?
Macaron making involves the skill of mostly the baker's hands, I guess that's why they are so hard to make for first time bakers.  The batter of every single batch has to be folded and piped carefully to achieve the most desirable consistency, the batter changes depends on the temperature of the eggs or the humidity of the day and so on, which makes Macaron such an interesting and challenging sweets to bake.

What are the books or magazines that inspire you?
There is a Japanese magazine called "Cafe-Sweet", it's my favorite magazine of all as it include many stories and tutorial of little cafes and bakeries in Japan.  It also talks about different Japanese ingredients that can be incorporated in sweets, inspire me in many ways to improve our macarons.

What changes/upgrades would you like to make in the future?
We are currently building our own commercial kitchen with a crafting room.  It would help us to bake macarons in much more efficient manner.  It's also been one of my dream to have a crafting room full of handmade papers, punchers, stamps, ribbon and so on for us to create and play around new designs for our macaron favors.
